aim of this site is to provide a focal point for information
about orchestral, chamber, instrumental, choral and similar
concerts and recitals in the Plymouth area, and to enable
concertgoers to plan their diaries some time in advance. A
separate page contains each month's events, linked from the
blue contents frame.</font></p>

local concert listings site tries to provide comprehensive
listings for the area, unlike the commercial "directory
based" sites which do not proactively establish contacts
and search for concert information, both online and in
person. Invaluable co-operation from local organisations such
as Plymouth Music Accord and the Plymouth Chamber Music Trust

orchestras and choirs featured in the Plymouth Classical
Music Concert Diary include the South West Sinfonietta, Ten
Tors Orchestra, Plymouth Symphony Orchestra, Plymouth
Philharmonic Choir and the University of Plymouth Choral
Society. However orchestras and ensembles from all over the
UK and elsewhere are often featured, such as the Endellion
String Quartet, The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields
Chamber Ensemble, Quatuor Danel, the Belcea String Quartet
and many more.</font></p>
<p align="left"><font size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica">Plymouth
concerts are held in a number of venues including The
Guildhall, St. Andrew's Church, The University of Plymouth
Sherwell Centre, Plymouth Pavilions and the Theatre Royal.</font></p>
