| Tuesday July 22 to Saturday July 26, Tavistock and Buckland Abbey Exon Singers Festival The Exon Singers, Matthew Owens (Conductor and Artistic Director), Jeffrey Makinson (Festival Organist) Composer in Residence: Philip Moore (Organist and Master of the Music, York Minster) The Festival will include first performances of works by Philip Moore, Howard Skempton and Dr Francis Jackson CBE. All performances take place at Tavistock Parish Church, apart from Choral Evening Prayer, which will be pre-recorded in Buckfast Abbey at 4pm on Friday 25th July (doors close at 3.45pm). Tickets available on the door for all concerts. Ticket prices: lunchtime recitals £3; evening concerts £8.00 (£1 for under 18's). A Festival Season Ticket will be available at a cost of £40, and will cover the concert ticket price for all lunchtime and evening concerts. |
